Scenes for "Dexter: Resurrection," an upcoming sequel series to Showtime's popular "Dexter" show, were filmed in Yonkers on Woodworth Avenue, city officials said on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The upcoming series, set to premiere in June, will be the second sequel to the original series and will follow "Dexter: New Blood." It will see Michael C. Hall again reprising his role as the titular anti-hero serial killer.
In addition to the sequels, "Dexter: Original Sin," a prequel series, premiered in December.
Hall could be seen filming scenes in photos from the set released by Yonkers city officials.
The show is the latest popular production to film within the city, which has labeled itself "Hollywood on Hudson" in recent years.
Other shows to film in Yonkers within the last year include HBO's "The Penguin"; NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" at Yonkers City Hall; CBS's "FBI: Most Wanted" at Untermyer Gardens; and Starz's "Raising Kanan Power Book III."
The city made a whopping $900,000 in film revenue in 2024, as Daily Voice reported.
